National Livestock Management Database (NLMD) is committed to protecting the Clients' privacy. We will not wilfully disclose information about Clients to any third party unless we have the Client's express permission.

Outlined below is a summary of how our commitment to ensuring information that you provide is handled appropriately and in confidence:

1. Information and what we do with it

In order to help us provide an optimal service we gather information in aggregate form: browser type (e.g. Navigator, Internet Explorer), operating system (e.g. Macintosh, Windows), IP address, and Internet domain (e.g. Demon, AOL). We use cookies to save your password for each session so you don't have to re-enter it each time you choose to enter the web site.

2. Information Gathered From Surveys

NLMD may conduct occasional e-mail surveys asking Clients for basic demographic information (like their postal code or age). Clients may opt-out of receiving future survey mailings by following the procedure outline in paragraph 6 below. The demographic and profile data will not be released about an individual, but may be used to provide combined aggregate Client profiles for marketing purposes in order to meet customers' needs.

3. Sharing Information

The NLMD’s registration process requires Clients to provide contact details. NLMD will not sell, rent, share, trade or give away any of your personal information. We reserve the right to rent only our postal mailing list with companies offering products or services through our web site. However, Clients can opt out of being included in this mailing list during registration or following the procedure outlined in paragraph 6 below. Finally, we aim to demonstrate benefits of our Service through Client experience so emails sent to NLMD may occasionally be used for testimonial purposes subject to User's permission. The web site contains links to other sites and NLMD is not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of such websites.

4. Security

NLMD is committed keeping Client information secure and we have measures in place to protect the loss, misuse or alteration of information under NLMD's control.

5. Opt-Out Policy

NLMD provides Clients with the opportunity to opt-out of receiving any kind of communication from us during the registration process.

6. Change/Modify/De-activate

NLMD provides a variety of options for changing, modifying and removing particulars provided by Clients. Any changes can be made by contacting NLMD with details, by:

Requests to remove a Client's details will be carried out within 28 days of the request being made.
